Natalie for Grazia.it
Probably a lot of you will recognise Natalie, contributor to German based fashion blog, Les Mads, which Natalie's sister Jessica started in 2007 and Natalie joined in 2008. Natalie lives in a great apartment in Paris with her French boyfriend, and in early June I whizzed over to Paris on the Eurostar to photograph her for Grazia. You can find the full feature on Grazia.it here.
Natalie is another one of those girls who is always a pleasure to be around during the fashion weeks (she writes, takes photos and videos for Les Mads). Always happy and up for a chat even when her luggage has been lost by the airline (Stockholm Fashion Week August 2010) or she has come down with the flu (NYFW February 2011). And she is also very beautiful. All tumbling wavy hair (she was lamenting its misbehaviour on the morning of our shoot together), sprinkling of freckles (both Jessica and Natalie know I adore their freckles!) and pale alabaster skin. And she is super smart. Natalie has as computer science and media degree, studied a semester of film at the Sorbonne in Paris and next year will complete her Master's degree.
Natalie's style? Pretty, feminine dresses and heels for off-duty with more relaxed, pared down trousers, shirts and flats for when she is running around at fashion week and uni. She mixes vintage (you can find her favourite stores in Paris in the Grazia feature), with pieces gifted to her by her boyfriend's mama (beautiful brown brogues, 70's style shirts), with selects from COS, Zara and H&M. Oh, and the hardware store! Natalie's ring in the above photographs (which looks like rose gold) is something she picked up at the hardware store for 2 euro!Natalie's dress at the cafe (which must have been the busiest cafe in Paris at the very time I was photographing Natalie.... I was dodging pedestrians, buses, pigeons and a tetchy old man who objected to Natalie putting her bag on the ground!) is from Zara, her sandals are from H&M and her bag is vintage.

Natalie's shirt is from French brand Souleiado, her trousers are Balenciaga (I think she said she found them in a vintage store in the South of France-another favourite hunting ground of Natalie's for vintage) and her shoes are from Zara. Jumpsuit from H&M.
Love the lamp that Natalie's clever boyfriend made in the photo below...
Red dress is vintage as are the shoes. The clutch is Chanel.
